Yeah the old timers had it way better as they did not have air
conditioning or have to worry about folks staying away to watch videos
(ouch) or even the worry of what place to eat after church. (double
ouch). They were able to dedicate themselves wholly to God and to not
worry but to pray. May we all learn from this, and may we see more of the
results that happen when we turn to him and from things and us.
I like the quote one of our ministers uses though. " the old camp had
character but I would rather be comfortable" The problem I have with the
AC in the santuary is that I seem to be so sweaty from the dorm shower
that the AC was twice as cold and besides we don't have much AC in New
England anyway...
