Testimony

I could not get to sleep yet tonight, so I decided to share with you
all of a testimony thta I heard Sunday at church.
There was this guy visiting my church and he came to the
college and career class during sunday school. As Sis Jones
always does every Sunday, she asked each and everyone of
us how our weeks went. When she got to him, she had him
testify a little about his "experience."
Forgive me on one thing though, I forgot his name. :P
Anways, he was a Mormon for 3 years and preparing to go
on his 2 year missions trip to Stockholm Sweden. He applied
to go to school at Liberty college(Jerry Falwell's school) to finish
up his schooling. Even though the school was a Baptist school
and they knew he was Mormon, they let him in. While he was there,
he was witnessed to by another student about oneness. At the time he
did not take it as anything big, but he did remember what this lady said.
One day as he was driving away from the school, he noticed a billboard
which talked about opening a door to a new experience, visit a UPCI
church!
He decided to visit. The truth was revealed to him and he was baptised
in
Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. He went back to the school
and
began to tell everyone the good news. He found at the time, a few other
students
who also believed in oneness, and they too started proclaiming the
gospel.
The President of the student administration found out and quickly
expelled
the boy and the others for what thy were doing and believing. He was
expelled
and they had his room packed up within 45 minutes. Currently, Bro Billy
Cole
is helping him fight Liberty college in court for their actions. Jerry
Falwell never
had a clue what happened until the court actions began. I guess it made
big
news around the town, and he was "picked" at by locals and so called
"christians"
from the college. He had windows of his car broken, every word in the
book
yelled at him, etc. He continued living near the college at the time
while attending
a UPCI church there under the pastoring of a Bro Cline, I think. He
lived in the
basement of Mark Lowery's mothers home. When the news hit about him
getting
expelled, Mark Lowery's mother asked him what happened. He told her and
began to reveal the truth to her. She broke down in tears and wanted to
know
more about this truth he had. As of now, she keeps in contact with Bro
Cline
and is learning more and more about oneness.
This guy after much deliberation, moved to Crawfordsville, IN. He lived
there
before he went to college. One of the first things he did after he moved
back
was to pull out a list of names of people he had witnessed to about being
a
mormon. He went back to every home he knew of that he had converted
and apologized for leading them wrong. He then told them about the truth
of God. Some of these people began converting from being a mormon to
being
Apostolic. This made the mormons mad and they officially declared him
"ex-communicated" with them. They told him not to go near their saints
and
not to go near their church. They even gave back every bit of tithes he
paid to the
church! He was glad though, he said it was better that way, now he could
put
the tithes into the truth. He applied at the local hospital about an RN
position
and receieved it. While there, he ran into two ladies who he felt a
spirit about.
These two ladies, Sis Tracy, and Sis Rickman, were at the hospital
because
Bro Tracy was in the hospital at the time. Bro Tracy is with the Lord
now. As he
approached these ladies and began talking to them he quickly found out
they
were Apostolic. He told them he was too! He also mentioned that he
didn't
know of that many UPCI churches nearby except for the one he was
attending
and that one wasn't what he was looking for. Sis Rickman urged him to
visit the Brownsburg church or Calvary in Indianapolis. He visited us
this past
Sunday! He is now presently working at the Crawfordsville Hospital and
the
great thing is, he is working with Sis Rickman and 3 other Apostolic
people
on the same floor of the hospital! 5 Apostolics on one floor can make
for a
great move of the Holy Ghost at any time!
The greatest part of his whole testimony was about his mom and dad.
His parents abused him and his dad was a alcoholic. When he was a
mormon, they would pick at him and tell him he was wasting his time.
They told him there was no God and he was being foolish. When he
became Apostolic and full of the Holy Ghost, his parents seen a
difference
in him. They are presently in contact with a pastor in Veedersburg, IN
and they are discussing oneness with him and preparing to visit the
church
there!
:) :) :) :) :) Sorry, I get happy when I think of his testimony and how
it
has affected so many people now. His parents, Mark Lowery's mother,
friends from Liberty college, the townfolk around Liberty college who
watched as the story made front line on the newspaper, the mormons
who he went back and told them the true gospel, etc, etc, etc.
He also mentioned that Bro Cole had talked to Jerry Falwell for a long
time
at one point about oneness.
God used this person and has and had a plan for him even though he went
through many hard times and probably has more to come.
The road God chooses for us, we sometimes do not understand but we
must trust in him with all our hearts and lean not into our own
understanding!

God Bless and I hope you all enjoyed this!
