Greetings Saints in Jesus name!
Let it be known, that I'm not a tree-hugger like the
folks that were just re-inaugurated on January the 20th.
I'm not an animal rights activist. But I do believe in
moderation in all things.
Personally, I think the environmentalist wackos are way
out of bounds because, I don't think, *recycling everything*
won't solve the woes of landfills, etc. If anything, it
probably makes it worse. I can see recycling some, but not
every particle of *stuff* that's brought home from the store.
Some cans, some newspaper, some bottles, etc. Think of all
the extra *work* that'd be needed to collect, separate, and
process the recyclables. And, once warehoused, is there any
guarantee that some manufacturer is going to buy the stuff
to recycle .... no, no, no! So the cost goes up to recycle
things because it costs more to haul it around (gotta have
special trucks and more people), sort and handle it, and then
get it ready for distribution back to a manufacturer... a
whole lot more steps than what is really necessary. Peoples
garbage (recycling) bills go up, up, up.... while they are
still on a fixed (or semi-fixed) income. This environmentalist
garbage is just another way to control a portion of peoples
income. If you can control their income and spending habits,
then there's other things that can be mandated to rob the
little guy of his pence's.
(jump off the soap box now)
This particular nyuk nyuk comes from Sis. Elaine Morgan
who received this from a kids listserv. It absolutely funny
and strikes directly at the *absurdness* of the environmentalist
and maybe even the animal rights wacko's.... enjoy!
