A Situation for Dave ...

Greetings Saints in Jesus name!

Hey Dave (suprdave@lightspeed.net), I've got a situation for you that'd
I'd like to know the answer to.

I personally think all of the children of God are being tried by the fire of
the Holy Ghost. If there's something there that the Lord doesn't want, then a fire is sent to purge them of whateveritis that's acting upon the
person like a cancer (spiritually).

Just like a child that is corrected by his/her parents, the person that has
this spiritual cancer doesn't really *want* (or even *beg*) the spanking of the Lord to come their way any more than a youth wants their parents to
take corrective action. As a parent, I relize that I *must* do something to
correct the bad behavior (to protect the child) before even worse habits occur that just add to the child's ill behavior/attitude/mindset.

Thinking out loud a little more now..... what does it mean if the parent doesn't take corrective action? Does that mean the parent is just ignorant of what's going on and is indifferent because of the tolerance? Does it mean the parent even condones the bad behavior? Does it mean the parent doesn't have the guts necessary to confront the child in order to take corrective action?

My question, knowing the operation of the gifts of the Spirit, would you be open (and willing) to go to a different oneness apostolic church (UPCI, ALJC, PAW, independent, etc. - one that has no idea *who* you are and what your plight is) for a service to see how the Holy Ghost ministers to you? To take the *risk* of putting yourself before another body of saints in humility. If they perceive something bad in the Holy Ghost (in you) ... then they see it and pray with you for your benefit. I realize that would put you in an extremely compromising position and it's liable not to be too awfully comfortable (because of the conviction of the Holy Ghost - not people condemnation - and the need to correct something that could prove eternally disastrous). That is, if there *is* something that needs correcting. Otherwise, it'd be a real no brainer.

I've an inquiring mind, I'd like to know. Are you willing ? Yes or No.

Bro. Tyler
