> I attended a Benny Hinn crusade in Long Beach, CA in 1993. I was
>sitting in front of some people who came from Africa. Since We were
there 2
>hours before the crusade began, I began to make conversation with these
>people. Their son, whom they brought to receive a miracle, was blind. I.
>guess he was only 12 years old. During the service, towards the part
where
>Pastor Benny prays one prayer for healing and miracles, with my own
eyes, I
>saw this boy jump up and scream, "I see, I see, I see..." It was obvious
>that he received his miracle without anyone laying hands on him.

Hold up right here. Read what you said. Benny Hinn prays one prayer,
and
the boy jumps out of his seat and screams, I see! In my opinion. Note
first of
all, the topic was laying on of hands not prayers of faith. I believe
the boy
received his miracle because he believed that God would do it, or someone
was praying for that boy at the time or in the past, and/or it was a
miracle for
the unbeliever.
Benny Hinn, in my opinion, is not teaching "truth." He is however trying
to take credit in God's healing of people. Benny Hinn was on a TV talk
show
a year ago talking about his crusade and those that had been healed. To
demonstrate a point, he had the whole crowd stand up and bow their heads
to pray
with him. Afterwards, he threw his hands toward the crowd and everyone
fell
back into their seats like they were "hit" with something. A few seconds
later
people were laughing about it like it was a big joke. The only big joke,
was
the guy being interviewed.
First of all, God does not do miracles to "entertain" us. God also does
not have
to do anything to prove himself. If by chance a person goes to a Benny
Hinn
crusade and feels that God will heal them there, God can and as seen,
has.
This does not make Benny Hinn a preacher of truth or someone to follow.
All
this shows is, someone went in the crusade with faith, and came out
healed.
