Prophecy seminars?????

Yes, I felt the need to agree with Elder Howard Davis who aptly stated
a low regard for things that distract from the power of the true
gospel (because I do agree), and at the same time reannunciate the
actual value of the reading and study of prophecy. 

It is obviously that there are many imbalances. It is also less
ovbvious, but true, that *some* INCORRECT slants on prophecy probably
result from spiritual errors in the individuals who believe and teach
them. However, since people can believe things they hear taught on the
sheer force of influence, it is not possible to identify where the
problem starts usually. If it were, frankly, we might not have a whole
lot of fellowship with so-called "mid and post trib" types, since I do
not believe that these views simply the wrong answers on a multiple
choise test. Rather I believe these are not only unscriptural, but
reflective of problems in understanding OTHER aspects of God's plan...

Let me retreat from the planned OVER-STATEMENT above.  Once again,
even the ERRORS in these and other areas do not in themselves deter
from the ability of a man to preach and teach the essential doctrines
of salvation, nor *should* such errors prevent those who fall for them
to lay hold on true salvation. And they do not, so long as they do not
TOUCH the essential doctrines of the godhead and the New Birth. Thats
not to say that minor errors cannot grow and pollute the foundations..
but if they have not... forbid not.

I want a move of the Holy Ghost in my life.. I KNOW that *I* won't get
or keep one while retreating from truth... maybe someone else WILL
when coming toward truth, but these matters are SETTLED.

And, to the greater benefit.. light always will influence error to the
better where God grants mercy, as long as we just go on teaching our
revelation (and yes kids, even our CONVICTIONS. - bear this in mind MY
Acts 2:38 conviction is someone elses "sematics"). If you are blessed,
open your mouth and speak because you have an unction of the Holy
Ghost and boy, watch the sparks fly in the religious world, but be
patient and godly. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut until God opens it
with truth. The result will be that OTHERS will hear God and the lover
of truth will be edified and he will join you in greater revelation.

Now, not everyone receives this ... so we have the long road to
victory.. thats OK, we are going on this highway, under full power.
Shake but don't get in the way.
