I believe the fear of the Lord is developed through experience and
through growing into the knowledge of the Lord.

As we grow in grace and begin to witness the awesome power of God in our
lives (not just from what someone else has said), we begin to realize
that there indeed IS an almighty God who is omnipotent and omniscient!

Also, through reading His Word, we come to understand that God is a
terrible God and that He is the author and finisher of all things.

That's enough to earn my fear, or reverence.
