Everybody on this list should be replying to this. We all have praises
to give, shouts to shouts, and thanks to make...
Even when things are ALL going wrong, we should give God the praise!
My year was a year to forget and remember. I know, we still have a month
and a half left but, boy was it a year. In short, my fiance dumped me, I
changed majors at school with only about a year left, I had to drop out
this recent semester to save my GPA, my best friend since we were babies
is mad at me, My recent school loan was rejected and I had to pay
$1700 with my credit card just so I could schedule next semesters
classes,
need I go on? WIth all this in mind, I am SOOoooo thankful!!! God still
reigns!
He is still Lord of Lord, He is still my savior, He is still on the
throne!!!
You see, I asked God for many things this year, many of these things I
am still waiting for....but you know what? IF he chooses to answer my
prayers by saying no, He is still the greatest thing to happen for me!
I love HIm regardless of the situation, I thank Him that I wake up
everyday
with a song on my heart, I thank Him everytime that I walk into a church
service and feel His presence, I thank Him everytime He talks to me one
on one, I thank Him for just being. Praise God!!!!!!
<complain mode on>
I get tired of hearing some people stand up and give a testimony and it
ends up being a whine session. When you stand up to give a testimony
don't have a sad face on, don't talk with your head to the floor, be
happy
that you are able to stand there and give that testimony, be thankful
that you were able to get out of bed, be thankful you have clothes to
wear,
cars to drive( no pun intended Bro Nally ;) ) , and food to eat! Just be
thankful that God lifted you out of that pit of Hell!
<complain mode off>
Just a interesting note to pass along....
A Sis once relayed a story to me which I believe Sis Freeman once
said. They were talking about prayer request. The bottom line
is this, when you give a prayer request, call it a praise request, God
already heard it, and if you will start having faith that it is already
taken
care of, praise God...! So the next time someone mentions prayer
request, tell them they are "praise request"
