I am of the belief that a ""preacher"" should prepare himself. I believe
that we need to seek God for the text and then use whatever means necessary
to develop the text to it's full potential, all the while leaving room for
the Holy Ghost to interject thoughts as the delivery is being given. 

I have heard some men do little more that ""read"" a sermon from start to
finish. I believe that if I ""study to show myself approved"" that God will
honor that by ""filling my mouth"" when the time comes for the delivery.
