The Bible doesn't speak of three wise men.  I believe that man put three wise
men in the story because of gold, frankincense, & myrrh.  I guess each man
had to carry an item :)

Jesus must have been about 2 to 3 years old by the time that the wise men
found Him.  The bible  states in Matthew 2:11..."And when they were come into
the house, they saw the young child..."  As you can see, Jesus was already
moved from the stable to a house. In Matthew 2:16 "Then Herod, when he saw
that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and
slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof,
from two years old and under, according to the time wheich he had diligently
enquired of the wise men.
