Greetings Saints in Jesus name!
Praise report #1 Yeah! We here in Illinois didn't get the snow that
those in Ohio did.... praise the Lord! Jesus you're so gooooood! My
sympathies go out to those in Ohio for the foot of snow they did get...
Praise report #2 Hallelujah! The Lord found temporary contract work for
me in a nearby town (here in east-Central Illinois) called Monticello
with a company by the name of "Global Internet Software Group" The SG's
main purpose in life is internet firewall security. www.gi.net will
probably tell you more. I'm currently in the process of developing a
on-line database to be shared with the Monticello, Lincoln (NE), and San
Mateo (CA) offices using microsoft internet information server and the
active server pages extension. Absolutely fascinating how easy it is to
do the stuff you need to do to distribute information across the country
through the world-wide-web. Anyway, they've not the time and their
webmaster in San Mateo doesn't even know how to do interactive web stuff,
so I'm the guy that's going to develop the system for them. It pay's no
less than what I made at CSC - in fact just a hair more. But then I can
come and go pretty much as I like get in 30-40 hours per week. All
without benefits and other insurances.... (hope the Nally's don't get
real sick real soon).
Praise report #3 My car died! On the way down from Gibson City, our
1991 Honda Civic DX (with 203K miles) lost power and croaked on us. It
smelled hot right before hand. The engine turns over. But it wouldn't
"go" on the road any from a standing start. I assume it's the 5 speed
transmission. With the Nally's living in Gibson City, working in
Monticello and schooling in Champaign. One way it's about 60
miles. That's an awfully long distance that we have to walk each day or
to find alternate transportation. Praise the Lord for the current hardship!
Any other praise reports out there?
Bro Tyler
