I think the original point is that God would not allow people to be born
into this world and die not having had a chance at salvation. Those
people who are receiving the message from the missionaries are certainly
not yet dead, and are having their chance at salvation.

You may now say something concerning those in those areas who died
before the missionaries got there...well, all I can say is that it would
be unjust for God to allow someone to die not having had a chance at
salvation, unless he's going to have some kind of special mercy on those
who have not gotten it from Apostolic missionaries....
