When these two thieves were crucified, the NT did not exist.  There
was no New Testament until after the death Jesus Christ.  Hold on!
I'm not talking about Matthew 1:1 being the beginning of the New
Testament.  Malachi being the Old Testament and Matthew being the
New Testament is strictly for convenience.  

When I say New Testament, I'm talking about the dispensation of grace, 
about the Gospel of Christ being our salvation.  

A testament cannot come into effect without the death of the testator, in 
this case Jesus Christ.
