OK, I admit it!  Guilty as charged.  In fact, my daughter and her
friends have called me Eugene before, and my wife looks at me
everytime Odessy comes on the radio and Eugene speaks. :-)

Back in the 70s, when I was doing a loty of work on DEC machines,
where octal is the norm, I had trouble balancing my checkbook, because
I would carry on eights instead of tens.  The good thing about hex is
it solved this problem for me.
