I heard the tape on Rush Wed. A.M. show.  Brinkley was giving Clinton
down the river and calling him names and cursing him and calling him
dumb, when he was told they were on live so he said, I"m leaving anyway
so what can they do?

The announcer said it is time for a break and they cut him off.

I laughed and almost fell out of my car ( an exaggeration ) but it was
hilarious.

Rush said one of his friends in the main steam media called him at 4pm
eastern time and gave him the final results of the election, presidential
and congressional, based on poll exits nation wide. It was within 1% of
the final tally, at 1am eastern this morning.

Yet they kept saying things are too close to call.   They were still
selling 
commercials and needed to keep an audience.

This is the third presidential election in 12 years that they have done
this an it is always within 1% of the final results.
