I didn't hear this personally, but it is indeed pathetic.  Out of all these
listed, only Wilson and FDR can accurately be called "Democrats."  The other
Presidents listed may have been called "Democrats" at the time, but their
parties were nothing like todays "Democratic" party.  This is akin to Catholics
calling the Apostle Peter the first Pope or Unitarian/Universalists calling
Michael Servetes one of their founding fathers!  Pathetic, indeed!
