This is wonderful. Did you know that one of the recently appointed
missionaries you guys are now supporting is a former pastor of mine? 2 years
ago he took my church as an AIMer. While he was pastoring, he had a side-job
as a driver for the Army newspaper. That was a night job so often he came to
church more asleep than awake, but he preached his guts out. My current
pastor is under AIM too. I hope he stays longer than 2 years. Since 1992 we
have had 3 pastors. :( I think the sad part about a missions church is that
once you get used to a pastor and trust him he leaves and you have to get
used to a new one. Please pray that this one stays longer than 2 years. Why
am I writing this...well, maybe to make you people aware that not only the
missionaries deserve our support, but those that are under the AIM-program
too. These people are needed here too. When my church got started there
would have been no music, would it not have been for this dear sister that
came over on AIM, met her husband here in Germany, went back to the States,
came back to pastor a military church, went back to the States, came back to
Vienna and finally came back to Augsburg to become the pastor of this church
