I am grateful for every missionary, cause these wonderful people give up
everything they have to come to a foreign country where they don't speak
the language, don't know the customs and often that country doesn't have
the same living standard as
they had in the States. I think they deserve our prayers, our love, our
respect and our support. God bless you all Doris

Amen, Sister! We recently honored Bro. Emmanual Rogers, Wisconsin District
Foreign Missions Director (I think he sits on the UPC board with Bro.
Cunningham, too. He also happens to be my pastor's presbyter.)
We invited Bro. Rogers to conduct a foreign missions service one Wednesday
evening, and, unbeknownst to him, invited his whole church to attend. He
was surprised, touched and full of thanksgiving!
Because of this man's influence, our church pledged to support all 18
missionaries that were appointed at the recent General Conference.
Bro. Rogers' burden has been transferred to our whole church, and we are
just beginning to understand *how important* missions work is. It certainly
puts what I do in the music ministry in perspective!
