You know, that is a real blessing too.... being able to surf the internet
with a dinosaur of a computer with a ultra-slow modem. Even with Lynx
thru prairienet, it takes 15 minutes to download the H-F archive page
from http://eli.wariat.org/upc/net/higher-fire/index.html. I kinda look
at this technological setback like a *technological lenten fast* of some
kind. I've got some Hindu friends back at CSC that probably think I'm
paying off bad karma or something like that.

That, I'm indeed thankful for... the allowance of being able to siphon a
little heat from your furnace. You know, down here in this basement of yours,
Treva's toenails turn the *prettiest* shade of blue. She doesn't
appreciate it much, but I sure do. You're makin' quite a sacrifice to
let us dwell down there. BTW- you should see the excitement a rumbling
down here when the gas water heater kicks on. Talk about a group *hug*
around the ol' heater.... man now that's togetherness.

I'm glad to know you're still looking out for me. And have my family's
best interest in consideration.
