I was considering either Bush or Perot for a while last election, but
when I heard that Perot was in favor of abortion, I could not give him
the endorsement of my vote. Bush at least openly was against
abortion. This year, it is obvious that Clinton, who has heard the
truth from numerous of our own ministers, is in favor of abortion, so
I cannot give him my vote.
The fact is that I think he and Jezebel have heard and need to respond
to a word from Elijah and repent of their wicked ways! It seems that
they will not repent, so I guess Alpo is getting ready to make a bid
on the carcass :-)
Dole, on the other hand, while not so openly in favor of abortion,
certainly has not come out and said he was against it, so he fails to
get my endorsement either. Who does that leave? Is Pat Buchanann
even still running? Is it worth my time to take off work and stand in
line to vote? I think not. Too bad.
To say that we have a choice at election time is not really true. We
have a multiple choice question to answer, and the choices we
determined for us. Multiple choice: Which is better? (a) to kill
your mother because she burned your morning toast, or (b) to dismember
her and roast the remains over a charcoal fire? Well, which choice
will you make? With a choice like that, I choose not to choose!
I see this years presidential election in much the same light. I did
not have a choice of who I get to choose from. As a registered member
of one party, I have no influence at all over any ather party's choice
of candidate, and I really have no choice over the candidates running
in my own party, just that same old choose from among the following
bad alternatives situation.
Sorry, all you patriotic voters out there, but I reject all the viable
candidates this year, and I am sorry to say this is the first year I
have ever felt this way :-(
