    Voting? I believe it's a privilage to decide what happens in our
country. In many other countries they do not have a choice. I also
believe that as good christians we have a responsibility to decide and
vote for what is best. There have been a number of times that
christians have turned the vote around, or even changed the mind of
congress because of a scad of phone calls supporting the christian
perspective of an issue. Yes, there are still lots of things that need
help, but if we do our part while we can, that's all we can do.
    I have to admit though that I'm having a terrible time with the
vote this time. I actually do not have a candidate, but I'm going to
have to choose sooner or later. Any help out there would be
appreciated. =)

P.S. I didn't used to think it was so important until my husband became
involved with city issues. Many asked him to run for city council and
even mayor, but he says he would rather back up his own man than do it
himself. Besides, he hardly has time to do what he has to do now! His
brother was our city councilman about 7 years ago and when the mayor
left office, he became acting mayor for a few months. You'd be
surprised how your vote really does make a difference!
