When I was a teen I talked my mom into buying beer because I heard
it was healthy for my hair. I tried it on my hair but I don't remember
the results since that was so long ago... back when the dinasaurs were
still around, tee-hee!

    I don't think I've ever cooked with beer but we've BBQ'd some
pretty mean ribs with Coca Cola, which leaves them pretty sticky along
with the BBQ sauce, but oh boy are they good!

Since I don't have a problem with liquor, and I have never been
drunk in my life (excpet in the spirit, which I'll never forger), I
don't have a problem cooking with wine or beer or alcohol in any case.
As far as someone seeing it, I don't have a problem with that either
because I know what I use it for and so does the Lord. I have a mouth
to explain should the need arise but I'm not the type to worry about
things like that too much because I believe my reputation speaks for
itself and those who know me..... well, they know me.

Now if someone couldn't help themselves from drinking the stuff,
then by all means don't buy it! Use spices or something but of course
it's not good to be tempted with things of which we had a problem in
the past. My dad was an alcoholic and believe me, I don't want to go
there! I personally have never had a conviction of buying wine for
cooking. If that conviction arises, trust me, I'll abide by it. I'm
sure not going to go to another town just to buy wine because I know I
don't have anything to hide. If you ever see me buying wine on the
other side of town, please caution me, because something must be wrong.
I'll thank you for it too! =)
