A couple of weeks later, we received a letter of apology from Bro. Libby.
He did not realise that there had been this change. He wished to promote
Apostolic talent and worship and was surprised at the obvious difference.
It was my understanding then, that these brethren had gone charismatic (or
at least loose). I Enjoy PC&D because I could understand the words to their
songs and I felt the Holy GHost ministering to my heart through their music. I
remember when I went to the 95 North American Youth Congress in Little Rock, Ar.
There was a youth choir that everyone in the audiance worshiped while they
sang. THe thing however is that the only words I understood was jump jump jump.
they would sing it over and over etc. and the rest of the song could have
been a song from AC/DC for all I could tell. I got quite a few looks from
people when I just sat like a stump on a log with my arms crossed. I can't
worship if I don;t know who the person on stage is saying or who they are
worshiping. THat choir could sing well in tune. But you need to be able to
understand the words to see what message is being sent. I try to keep that
thought in any of my songs that I have written no matter what style they are.
(I have written everystyle except for pop and heavy metal.)

I have always liked Phillips, craig, and Dean. I have never thought of them
being a charismatic group. The church [= The World of Pentecost, Austin Tx], I
used to watch on TV occasionally and I really enjoyed their ministry.
