Funny you shoud mention that.  Yes, I accidently left them out, and
yet I really think they are a very strong force in this area.
Remember: when Clinton wanted a place to talk to high technology
industry, he chose Silly-Gee as the company.  I am working on 2 TV and
video related projects for 2 different clients right now, and both of
them are using MIPS technology.  It really is a good choice for this
kind of stuff -- fast, simple, powerful, easy to embedd in silicon,
multiple vendors, but all paying royalties to SGI and MIPS Inc.,
compliments of Stanford U.
