Keep up the fantastic work, and best of success and blessings in your
web page graphical design service.  My expectation is that this will
be one of the best new businesses to get into in 1996, and you are
already in it.  I am consulting with several companies involving
multimedia and the internet, and it is only just getting ready to
sprout.  This is going to be a tremendous opportunity for those with
the foresight to become involved in it early on.

But we, as Christians, need to be aware of where all of this is
leading.  The demand for better communications services, primarily
with respect to video entertainment, is paying the bill to wire the
world for the coming Antichrist.  The video servers already being beta
tested with some phone companies have 64 processors, several gigabytes
of shared multiport RAM, and several terabytes of RAID disk space.
They are being made by Sun and Hewlett-Packard.

These systems are installed as part of the COTS, or Central Office
Telephone Switch.  They are intended to provide video on demand to
thousands of subscribers.  They are capable of all this.  But consider
how easy it will be to load new programs into these machines right
over the phone system they are already an integral part of, and use
that same computational power to monitor the population very closely.

Even individually, these are very powerful machines.  Networked
together by the thousands over SONET fiber optic ring at 1.3 gigabits
per second, the computational power is incredible.  And all this for
TV entertainment?  It looks that way, but we have read the last page
of the book, and we know how it will be in the near future.

We are wiring the world for the beast!
