Subject: Texas Bible College On-Line?

December 21, 1995

Dear Apostolic Friend,

Holiday Greetings!

We here at Texas Bible College are considering putting a home page on the
Internet. The ultimate goal would be to provide Bible college courses via
computer, eventually offering a full diploma through the Internet.

The board and faculty of TBC are struggling with a couple of questions that
we need help with. Since your name was on the 'Net, we felt you might be
sufficiently familiar with the medium to assist us in reaching some
reasonable conclusions.

In your opinion:

1. Is there a market for this approach? Do you feel that there
would be enough interest in Bible college distance learning to make this
effort worthwhile?

2. Should we be concerned about the availability of pornography on the
Internet? Would this effort in any way contribute to a person's falling
prey to such material? Is there any way that such material could be blocked?

Your thoughts on these matters would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to
be prayerful, careful, and thoughtful before taking this leap. Please help
us by sending your comments to (Kerry Hammer) kerry@hti.net. Thanks!

Sincerely in Christ,

J. R. Ensey, President
