* >The fathers name is JESUS. How do I know that? By finding two or three
* >scripture that declare it:
* >
* >Heb 1: 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by
* > inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
* >
* >Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord
* >         Jesus Christ,
* >
* > 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
*
* You said you found 'em, but you sure didn't post 'em! :-)
*
* >The Son inherited his name from his FATHER. If the SON's name is JESUS
* >then his FATHER's name is likewise JESUS.
*
* Are you serious? Inheritance means your birthright as a Son. God the Father
* exalted the name of Jesus and made it above every name. Jesus now rules
* universe by mighty power God has given him! Jesus is Lord of All. But that
* does not mean his name LITERALLY is the same as the Fathers. In fact, we
* know for certain it is not. this is an established Biblical fact. Everytime
* you see, "LORD" in capitals in the OT, it is "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" as some
* transliterate.

Sure I'm serious. Why else did the angel tell Mary to call the child
JESUS. Simply because JESUS isn't the family name of the foster father
Joseph. But, JESUS is the family name of the FATHER. The angel said:
"and thou shalt call his name JESUS. (Luk 1:31 & Mat 1:21,25)"

The name had to be of the family of God. Why else are we baptized in the
name of Jesus? To take on the family name in adoption. So that we can
be joint heirs with Christ. Identified with God via God's name. It used
to be a bride would take the grooms name in marraige. My wife's name was
Thompson. Now it's Nally. She is identified with me via marraige. Our
kids inherited my (family) name, Nally. There's no reason why the family
name of God wouldn't be handed down to the first one born of heaven.

* I know what you mean, I really do. But think of the Angels in the OT. God
* was in union with them, even speaking DIRECTLY through them, but he was not
* the same PERSON as the Angel.

Sometimes in the OT, God would appear to an OT saint as someone in angelic
form. This (I've heard) is called a theophany. How did God visit Abraham
telling of the birth of Isaac? I believe these theophanies to be God. But
not in an "incarnation" kind of way. I think that sometimes God would shroud
himself in such angelic fashion to communicate. That doesn't imply that God
was wholly contained in a theophany and that outside of the theophany God
didn't exist. God's a spirit. There's no boundaries on the Spirit of God.
God can be omnipresent (as the Spirit) as well as being made manifest in a
theophany.

* The Official Catechism of the Catholic Church plainly states that Jesus is
* Jehovah God of the OT. A newsletter just given to me by a housemate from
* Billy Graham uses the "proof text" of Jesus saying "He that seen me hath
* seen the Father" to prove to diety of Jesus. This was strictly a Trinitarian
* publication. The "WHEEL OF PROPHECY" used by Apostolics and published by
* Brother Kilgore of the UPC is avidly used by Trinity people to convert JW's.

Wow! If the official Catechism states that, then why wasn't I ever taught
it? If I were to ask my parents (one devout RC and one not) about this, I'm
sure that they wouldn't tell me this. This was a revelation to know that
the person of Jesus was none other than FATHER wrapped up in flesh. I can't
think of any time where I've been taught that Jesus was God (of the OT)
manifest in the flesh prior to coming into the apostilic church. Jesus was
always separate unto God. Kinda like a separate personality with a separate
will with equal authority and power. They also say the Holy Ghost is another
separate entity of God. Equally powerful, equally authoritative. They never
once tried to show me that the three (Ick! I hate to say that) were different
manifestations of the same Spirit. Same person shown three different ways.
And then when you throw the blessed virgin Mary in there, you'd swear (as a
little growing catholic boy) there's four separate thrones in heaven.

* Did you forget to take your medication this morning?

Duuuuuuuuuuhhhhh........  I'm running a little low.....  8-P

* >That's right. And when I see Jesus speak, I see the fruit speak.
*
* Does the fruit speak to you at night when you're alone? What does it say?

Sure I know God's voice. The sheep always know the shepherds voice.
