While this responds to an number of matters in Bro. Murphey's
correspondence, wider than this particular letter ...

Holy Ghost experience is certainly neither certification of, nor
inviolable compulsion towards doctrinal truth.

People can receive the Holy Ghost and be in error, and they can
receive the Holy Ghost and go to hell after a life of resistance to
that wonderful spirit.

Doctrine is established by the witness of two or three authorized
witnesses (scriptures), and today, in the mouths of those who believe
them.

I am looking forward to having more time to publish starting, perhaps,
later this week.
