>Michael, I apologize. You are not polytheistic. You are following
Arianism. I apologize for
>misunderstanding your field of opinion. However, Arian was also incorrect
in his denial of the
>Deity of Christ.
Arius was wrong about a few things; but he had some good arguments.
>However, I must dispute you over the basis that Jesus, although a man, was
still the express
>image of God, retaining the full power of Deity. The Word clearly states
that the fullness of
>the Godhead, ie Deity, was present in the body of Jesus Christ.
That sounds perfectly correct to me; no argument.
>The Deity of Jesus comes by revelation. "No man can say that Jesus Christ
is Lord, but by the
>Spirit." One MUST have the Spirit in order to fully understand the full
Deity of Jesus.
I believe in baptism in Jesus name, speaking in tongues, laying on hands,
and driving out devils. I mean to speak of the Diety IN Jesus, not that
Diety that IS Jesus. It's two different concepts, one Dynamic Modalism, the
other Monarchial Modalism.
>of Almighty God. In this I am not blinded. I understand that Christ was
the IMAGE of God in
>that he is the ONLY form of God any man will ever see. In this I am not
blinded.
But still, I have no quarrel on this point.
>The Word delcares wisdom is justifed of her children. My friend, your
words are not declaring
>any wisdom - only vain babblings of which we are expressly told to beware.
I'm very sorry to hear you speak that way of the Scriptures, Michael,
because it is them to which I defer, not the ecclesiastical tradition of my
fathers.
>I am also curious as to know what your pastor has to say of your beliefs...
If he ignores the Words of Christ, he is no man's Pastor!
