>The fathers name is JESUS. How do I know that? By finding two or three

You said you found 'em, but you sure didn't post 'em! :-)

>The Son inherited his name from his FATHER. If the SON's name is JESUS
>then his FATHER's name is likewise JESUS.

Are you serious? Inheritance means your birthright as a Son. God the Father
exalted the name of Jesus and made it above every name. Jesus now rules
universe by mighty power God has given him! Jesus is Lord of All. But that
does not mean his name LITERALLY is the same as the Fathers. In fact, we
know for certain it is not. this is an established Biblical fact. Everytime
you see, "LORD" in capitals in the OT, it is "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" as some
transliterate.

>Ever since I got the revelation on the oneness of God (which, to me,
>super-simplifies any bible reading instead of complicating it) I think
>of the manifestation of Jesus like a bananna. Huh?!? Yeah, a bananna.

I know what you mean, I really do. But think of the Angels in the OT. God
was in union with them, even speaking DIRECTLY through them, but he was not
the same PERSON as the Angel.

>God can't deny himself. For that reason. Jesus, how shall I say this,
>was God's ambassador, executor, representive, with complete power of
>attourney and proxy of the FATHER. That's why so often they are described
>in scripture as separate.

That's EXACTLY what I think. The Son has all authority in heaven and in
earth given to him by the Father. "POWER OF ATTORNEY" if you will. But that
doesn't make him the same person, only the AGENT of God.

>But in real life the SON is the FATHER contained in skin.

Jesus was more than "skin". He had fears, desires, emotions, his own
personal spirit, a living soul, and when he KNEW he was alone, he prayed to
the Father.

>* Right. So accept John 8:16-18 as TRUE. They are TWO MEN or PERSONS.
>
>Two distinct manifestations of the same being. Seems like I just wrote
>about that.

You're adding leaven unto the Word of God. Jesus said, "two men". You are
adding your philsophy unto that. Why?

>I wasn't ever taught this. I grew up in a the trinitarian gobbledegook
>of the Roman Catholic Church.

The Official Catechism of the Catholic Church plainly states that Jesus is
Jehovah God of the OT. A newsletter just given to me by a housemate from
Billy Graham uses the "proof text" of Jesus saying "He that seen me hath
seen the Father" to prove to diety of Jesus. This was strictly a Trinitarian
publication. The "WHEEL OF PROPHECY" used by Apostolics and published by
Brother Kilgore of the UPC is avidly used by Trinity people to convert JW's.

>I think that the oneness of God, can be explained in great manner like
>as has been done in this forum many many times. But, I truly don't
>expect anyone to FULLY believe it to the point of investing their faith
>in it until they receive the revelation on the NAME of JESUS (which is
>hand-in-hand with the revelation on the ONENESS of God).

I believe in the ONENESS of God and Jesus, in unity, harmony, obedience.

>That's right....
>John 7: 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but
> his that sent me.

> (That's right! Back to the peel and the fruit. You see the

> insides/essence/identity) is the one who determines what
> the peel says (or what he does))

Is the area near your computer well ventilated? ;-) But seriously, good
brother, on this we are agreed. But they are still two in number. Jesus even
said he was created by God, as the firstborn of every creature, the
beginning of the Creation of God, Rev 3:14.

> 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine,

Did you forget to take your medication this morning?

>* Easier? If I said, "My posts are not my own. They are posted for the one who

>* wih me."
>*
>* You would think, "Gee! how SIMPLE to understand! Mike *IS* the guy posting!"
>
>That's right. And when I see Jesus speak, I see the fruit speak.

Does the fruit speak to you at night when you're alone? What does it say?

>* Of course. Why aren't most UPC people WILLING to accept John 16:27-29 as the
>* TRUTH?????
>
>I think they (I really can't say because I'm not UPC) accept it as truth
>under the illumination of the revelation of the NAME of Jesus and the ONENESS
>of God.

Under the illumination, or under the influence of?
