Oneness Theology on the Line

By now, some of you have seen some of the reasons why I chose to
approach the Two Natures, One Person thread from the standpoint of the
issue of a plurality of wills, where Oneness Theology has faulted
itself, and where inquiring minds, such as Mike Murphy will attach to
an inconsistency, and hold fast.

Brethren, we ought not to deny the inconsistencies that are blatant.

I think some instinctively know (through the revelation which God has
given to them), that it is wrong to amplify plurality in God, and that
Jesus and eternal God are inseparable, and indivisible, but are
frustrated that your conventional terminology has been ineffective in
reaching this individual.

I have been assured that what you are seeing is not uncommon. However,
when we confine ourselves to limited circles, we run the risk of
limiting our consideration as to the very real need to enhance and
strengthen our communication to meet the needs of this generation. To
do so, we must, as always, turn to the Apostles, and be faithful to
them.

This is going to cost some time, but in the coming weeks I intend to
explore issues which these discussions have focused on.

Due to a limitation of my time, my posts will take the form of
discourse may appear pedantic, in contrast with what we have been used
to. I may not personally respond to every, or sometimes ANY response.
Please understand that a lack of a response from me does not indicate
that I cannot, or do not desire to answer. It is simply a limitation
which I have received from spiritual counsel. I will avoid debate at
all costs, and ask that saints of God take any controversy which
arises and troubles them personally, to their pastors. I am NOT YOUR
pastor, and I WILL NOT be held responsible for your inappropriate
response to what I write that may conflict with HIS teaching.

I do NOT think debate is inherently wrong, but I risk a violation of
ministerial ethics in overextending my public interaction. Please
communicate with me by private mail for any specific issues. I did
write "Farewell" a time back, and though resuming limited activity, I
defer to many of the principles expressed in that note.

Let me encourage debate and discussion among yourselves of the
comments that are raised here. Lets pray together that God's will be
accomplished through the participation of every soul who God has seen
fit to add to this list, and the uplifting of everyone that is added.

Yours in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for revival in our time!

(ps. I will repost this, with a moderator's permission, from time to
time)
