A very good point, but some seem more honest than others. For instance, I
think that _An American Translation_ by the University of Chicago is
excellent. I also like the _New Jerusalem Bible_ mostly for the name of God
which appears throughout, unlike the KJV which has kludges like, "My name is
the LORD" which makes zero sense.
Also, the KJV has some "proprietary" verses. LIke it's handling of Ephesians
3:9 and Phillipians 2 part about "thought it not robbery to be equal with God."
Also, if most Bible scholars are post-Catholic Trinity types, no wonder
everybody thinks Jesus is the God of the OT!
