TWO NATURES, ONE PERSON

>John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do
>the will of him who sent me."

A perfect example of how Jesus was with God before and returned to God's
side when he ascended on high. Jesus told us this in John 16:27-29, where we
find out that it is NOT a parable but literally true. "now you are using no
figure of speech, but speaking to us plainly of the Father". Jesus came from
God and returned to God where he was before. I am not responsible if you
deny the words of Jesus by obscuring them with vague interpretations and
philosophy.

Jesus came down from HEAVEN to do some other persons bidding!

>7:16-18 "Jesus answered, 'My teaching is not my own. It come from him who
>sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether
>me teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks
>on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who wokrs for the
>honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; ther is nothing false
>about him."

Here we see Jesus deny being God. Either his words were his own, meaning his
identity, or they were God's words, another identity. But Jesus spoke God's
words, and not his own. Therefore, he was not God. He was not the Father nor
any Trinity member. He was a servant, the man from heaven!

>8:16-18 "But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I
>stand with the Father, who sent me. In your own Law it is written that
>the testimony of two men is valid.  I am one who testifies for myself;
>my other witness is the Father, who sent me."

here Jesus plainly denies being the same person as God by calling himself
and God "two men".

>Acts 3:26 "When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to
>belss you by turning each of you from you wicked ways."

Peter here makes plain that Jesus, the Son of God, is the servant of the
Father. Peter in the next chapter prays to God and speaks of his, "holy
Servant, Jesus."
Now use your brain. Do you pray to Jesus and say, "Lord, thank you for
sending your holy servant Jesus into my life." It makes no sense! The only
way to explain it is to make up a bunch of convoluted, complex spiritism.

>Who is Peter speaking to here? He is teaching Jews who were looking
>for a Messiah. 4 - see above

In the next chapter, he was praying to Jehovah and mentioning Jesus by name.
He was not talking to Jews.

>1 Co 11:1-3 "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. I
>praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the
>teachings, just as I passed them on to you. Now I want you to realize
>that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God."
>Very true. The head of Christ IS God. Christ as the SON of God, was
>subordinate to the WILL of God.

God IS the head of Christ. Not WAS the head of Christ; as you changed it.
The flesh is dead! The Son is not just flesh that needed to die on a cross.
He is a person we are awaiting from heaven!

>15:20-28 "But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead . . . WHen he has
>done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put
>everything under him, so that God may be all in all."

Funny how you skipped the part where it says everything is subject to Jesus
except the Father who gave the powerto his Son.

>BUT, this all DOES harmonize with Rev 1:1 which shows again, the dual
>nature of Christ - Deity and Humanity - Lord and Christ. Wonderful!!!

Oh come on! You can't honestly believe that John REALLY meant to say, "The
Revelation of Spirited Flesh, which the Spirit gave unto the flesh, which
gave it to his angel, which gave it to John his servant." That defies all
common sense. We are supposed to be sheep, not mystical rocket scientists!

Isn't it easier to accept what it says like any other sentence?

>HI>It balances on the OTHER very quickly. Have you ever bothered to REALLY pay
>HI>attention to what those verses come out and say?
>
>I just did... Don't see any discrepencies... hmmm...

If you didn't see anything, maybe its because of 2 Cor 4:4.
