Yes, He was with God AS God (John 1:1). In other words, the manifest
"portion" (a weak word, I realize) of God that was in Christ was, in the
beginning, with the Deity as part of the Deity Himself.

I don't read the word "visible" there. Visible, by definition, means capable
of being seen. However, the Bible is clear that NO MAN can see God.

No, he saw Jesus next to GOD...not the FATHER.
