HI>Excellent point. Lets put those two verses on a scale side by side. Now
HI>we'll put John 6:38, 7:16-18, 8:16-18, Acts 3:26, chp 4, 1 co 11:1-3,
HI>15:20-28, and
HI>Rev 1:1 and Chapter 7 on the other side just for starters.

John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do
the will of him who sent me."
The SON is subordinate to GOD (another proof how the Trinity is
invalid), thus while Jesus walked on this earth as a man (like you and
me), He had to obey the WILL of the Spirit of God (like you and me).

7:16-18 "Jesus answered, 'My teaching is not my own. It come from him who
sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether
me teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks
on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who wokrs for the
honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; ther is nothing false
about him."
Again, the SON is subordinate to GOD. Jesus, as a man, lived a life
that was to be an example for you and me to live by. We should always
do everything that will give glory to God. You seem to forget that
Jesus was a man like you and me, who was subject to the same potential
sins that you and I can commit. Thus, we had to be obedient to the
omnipresent Spirit of God.

8:16-18 "But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I
stand with the Father, who sent me. In your own Law it is written that
the testimony of two men is valid.  I am one who testifies for myself;
my other witness is the Father, who sent me."
Since Jesus was both God and man, both natures could testify to the
point that God was manifest in the flesh. No separation of persons in
the Godhead was necessary to accomplish this. If there are three
persons in the Godhead, why didn't Jesus use the Holy Spirit as the
third witness? Jesus was only showing the dual nature of Deity and
Humanity. When the Phaisess questioned Jesus as to how the Father had
witnessed to them, Jesus proceeded to explain how that he was the "I
AM" of the Old Testiment. Why didn't he just explain how the Father
was another person? (If that was truth as you seem to imply...)

Acts 3:26 "When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to
belss you by turning each of you from you wicked ways."
Who is Peter speaking to here? He is teaching Jews who were looking
for a Messiah. Peter is explaining how that this man Jesus who was
slain, was that Messiah who was promised. Again, we see the
distinction between Deity and Humanity here. Peter is referring the
the Humanity of Christ that was alive, died, and rose again.

Chp 4 - see above

1 Co 11:1-3 "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. I
praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the
teachings, just as I passed them on to you. Now I want you to realize
that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of Christ is God."
Very true. The head of Christ IS God. Christ as the SON of God, was
subordinate to the WILL of God. However, this does not show a
distinction of Persons; it only shows the distinction of the
manfiestions or roles.

15:20-28 "But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead . . . WHen he has
done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put
everything under him, so that God may be all in all."
Great scripture passage!! Too lenthy to include it all here. But this
a GREAT text which shows the error of the Trinity. If the SON and
FATHER are "co-equal," why does the Sonship end here? Paul is clearly
showing that the duality of Son and Father (not two persons, but two
roles) will come to an end when "all enemies" are put "under his feet."
When that time comes, the Sonship will end, and the role of Father
will also end (as it is associated with Son) so that GOD may be GOD
"all in all." One God, one person, "one Lord," multiple manifestions,
which reveal God to man.

Rev chapter 7 - Sorry, but I do not see how the 144,000 sealed has any
relevance here.

BUT, this all DOES harmonize with Rev 1:1 which shows again, the dual
nature of Christ - Deity and Humanity - Lord and Christ. Wonderful!!!

HI>It balances on the OTHER very quickly. Have you ever bothered to REALLY pay
HI>attention to what those verses come out and say?

I just did... Don't see any discrepencies... hmmm...
