HI>>MM>And yet, No Apostle or even Jesus ever directly seems to say so?
HI>>
HI>>1 Tim 3:16 "And without controvery great is the mystery of godliness:
HI>>God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
HI>>preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into
HI>>glory."
HI>Trinitarian translation. See almost every other Bible. To prove it, see the
HI>Trinitarian corruption of Ephesians 3:9 in the KJV which virtually no other
HI>Bible has.
It amazes me how you claim "trinitarian translation," when you are
obvioulsy not Montheistic. Hmmm.
HI>>Rev 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the
HI>>Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
HI>See verse 1:1 for correction. Also chapter 7 where Jesus is standing in
HI>heaven and the Father is sitting down, and Jesus takes something out of his
HI>hand.
Vs 1 clearly shows the Book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus
Christ.
HI>>John 8:24 "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:
HI>>for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins."
HI>>NOTE: The word HE is not in the original Greek text. Many times Jesus
HI>>declared Himself to be the I AM, of which the religous Pharisees and
HI>>Sadducees sought to stone Him - for He a mere man, made Himself God.
HI>Is the blind guy Jesus healed in John 9 also God? He too said "I AM" when
HI>asked a question. In the original Greek, the phrase means more like, "I am
HI>what I claim to be". You know, Jesus said when asked who he was, "What I
HI>have told you from the beginning". He is the Son of God who came down from
HI>heaven, not to do his own will, but the will of his Father. He came from God
HI>and returned to God. The Resurrected Christ is still in submission to God (1
HI>Co 11:1-3, 15:20-28,
HI>Rev 1:1). In John 6:30 (from memory), Jesus assures his disciples, "It is I,
HI>do not be afraid". He LITERALLY said, "I AM" but they did not translate that
HI>way. The wanted to convey the original meaning. "It's me" or "You know me gu
You really need to pray about this my friend..with a sincere heart.
HI>>Many more scriputre declare the Deity of Christ. Jesus declared His
HI>>Deity; His apostles' declared His Deity. To say otherwise is to deny
HI>>the Word of Truth.
HI>What about the verses I mentioned above? Do you deny that Jesus and the
HI>Father are distinct? See also Acts 2:32 for another fine example. There are
HI>DOZENS just like it. I'm serious! Be honest with yourself!
The SON and FATHER are distinct manfiestions. But Jesus and the Father
do not imply distinct persons. Jesus, as the SON, was distinct from
the manifestation of the Father. You are confusing yourself again,
Michael.
