Comfort one another with these words

Hello to everyone.  This is my first time to post anything to this list.  I
can sincerely say that I am enjoying reading your postings to the higher-fire
list.  Sometimes I am humored and then other times I am made to think.

One comment that I would like to make about the second advent of the Lord
Jesus Christ is that 1 Thessalonians 4:18 tells us to comfort one another
with these words that believers will meet the Lord in the air to be with HIM
forever.  Something that I have been very guilty of in the past is fear
mongering, talking more about the "son of perdition" (antichrist) and his
coming reign of terror than we do of the One who is coming our wonderful
saviour Jesus the Christ who will destroy this false christ with the
brightness of his coming. Amen!! We are not ignorant of satans devices.
Prophesy trends come and go but I'm going to keep my eyes on the saviour of
my soul.  John 21:22 "what is that to thee follow thou me."
