Here goes :-)
God made Eve out of Adam's side and said these two shall become one
flesh (paraphrased and extracted out of context unauthorized version).
Where she was (his side), she will return to. (The dust of the earth:
that which is of the earth is earthy.)
The church is the living flesh of Jesus today, because where he was
(the very side of God, hence the same "stuff", not flesh, but spirit)
he has returned to. Since we are now born of that same spirit, we to
will return there.
That's resurection power!
DISCLAIMER: The above was very much off the cuff and rather tongue in
cheek. Please do not beat me up about it. It is not theology by any
stretch of the imagination, but just a quasi-metaphorical line of
thought.
But do think a little about the direction it is headed.
