Do you really think that Bro. Mahaney and others have been working
with the rabis of the Temple Mount Institute for over 5 years and
*NOT* told them that Messiah has already come ???  These devout Jews
are going to do this one way or the other anyway.  Our good ministers
in working with them are telling them the truth.  Some will hopefully
believe it.  Others will Know it is the truth later :(

Well, I dissagree that the particular situation of this discussion
involves "random" texts.  You must admit (I hope) that there are still
OT prophecies yet to be fulfilled.  Even Jesus said:

 Mt 16:2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, [It
    will be] fair weather: for the sky is red.
 Mt 16:3 And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky
    is red and lowring. O [ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the
    sky; but can ye not [discern] the signs of the times?

I take this as clear license to apply OT prophecies to current events.
