Fear controls, doesn't it? And people fear change and technology.

In the 1800's, Russian troops were told that Napoleaon was OBVIOUSLY the
Anti-Christ, and as I recall much insane bloodshed ensued.

I am waiting for the first fundie redneck to assasinate some poor guy that makes
bar code readers for a living.

When it comes to Revelation, the best advice is take it with a grain of salt.
SKEPTICISM in certain contexts is healthy.

The UPC once taught in it's ALpha Bible Course that Adolf Hitler was AntiChrist.
I saw the original copy of this myself.

It pays to cynical sometimes. And you see, everybody whines about me, and they
would have fallen for these historical caveats hook, line, and sinker.

MAYBE this time the paranoia is accurate, or then again, maybe it will only
lead to destructive insanity.

I know the Bible says that whether we are alive or dead and buried when he
comes, we will rise to his attention when the Son of God from heaven is revealed
with his mighty angels in flaming fire! Until then, I wouldn't send any cash
to Jack Van Impe asking about Jewish Homosexual Popes taking over the world.
