So couldn't the author of Hebrews have felt justified to allow the Hebrew
Christians to continue offering sacrifices "that the scripture might be
fulfilled"?  Might that author not have felt that by doing so, he also would
have been helping along God's prophetic plan?  No, I'm afraid I still must
stand by the fact that God clearly states He no longer desires physical
sacrifices--and that to offer them nullifies the sacrifice of Christ!
