I wholeheartedly agree with Bro. Welch and others.  Why should we allow
the entertainment media to possess a monopoly over something which could be
used to evangelize the entire world?

I have *heard* that a resolution concerning this topic will be voted on at
this year's UPC general conference.  Currently, any UPC minister who preaches
on television or participates in a televised service runs the risk of having
his or her license revoked.  Does anyone know more about this resolution and
the UPC "stand" on ministers preaching on TV?  I think that similar proposals
have been voted on in the past and have failed, but there seems to be 
substantial support this time around.  Again, these are all things I have
*heard*.  If anyone can add more info, I would appreciate it.
