Honestly I have been considering this for our local television access
channel. For those television illiterates, "access channels" are channels
that the community is able to use to display whatever they want to. Local
churches often use them to show there services.
But, I was thinking about sending out a petition to all the Apostolic
churches that record there services and submit them for a regular access
channel rotation. I would play a service or a portion of a service from a
different Oneness church each week. I was trying to decide on a titile. But
I think that it could be called, "Apostolic Light" or "Apostolic Truth" or
"Apostolic Praise" (Gotta have Apostolic in it somewhere).
You would be surprised at the number of people that think I go to a local
trinitarian church just be cause they use the name Pentecostal on the TV. I
want something that I can show people saying, "Thats the kind of church that
I go to. Just watch channel 33 from 8:00 to 10:00. Taste and see what we
have been experiencing since AD 33."
And to Bro Welch, we must have been missing each other because I have
intimated this same thought from time to time. Especially while in the heated
debate over TV ownership. But be well aware of this, there are many
Apostolic folk that have experience in working with television media. Many in
the PAW for sure; and in all of the other 153+ Apostolic organizations too.
God has people in every important vocation. What the TBN does is have alot of
the people work basically on a voluntary basis. They come in and do a little
work in dedication to their 3 Gods. So they pull from a very large pool. Our
pool would have to be all One God churches.
One concern is that I am afraid that we wouldn't be able to do it because
we can't overcome the organizational disunity issue. And the other is that
the UPC has placed up such a negative view of TV's that we won't be able to
get past that man made standard either. We would need unity and singleness of
heart, mind, and purpose.
Just broadcasting a few more of my thoughts.

PS - The churches wishing to air there programs should be required to pay some
sort of fee in order to defray costs. After all, their church would benefit
from such a show.
