TELL IT NOT IN GATH

>David wouldn't touch that situation with a "ten foot pole", so he
>quietly cut off the skirt of Saul's garment. This served as a gesture
of
>humiliation, and also as a "calling card" to say, "Basher's been here."
>
>But, to otherwise "touch" the Lord's Anointed-- "Not on your life."
Not PHYSICALLY or VIOLENTLY. Obviously David was a POLITICAL threat to
Saul and continued to be.
>In spite of the fact that Sauls "command" was terribly flawed, and his
personal
>life was in shambles, David honored the forty-year-old "Anointing" which
>had not yet been removed by the Lord. (The oil BELONGED TO THE LORD.)
(see
>Exodus 30:33-38)
But David obviously DID NOT OBEY KING SAUL, did he? Neither did he stand
up and protect the King's actions.
>But David's plea was, "Don't tell family (National, State or Church)
>secrets or affairs out on the streets or public places. The vernacular
is:
>"Don't hang out the dirty wash." It's bad enough that WE have to look
at it.
> Let's not put it on display for others to see.
>
>"TELL IT NOT IN GATH."
Is this in reference to the Clinton Scandal? If so, then I would
disagree with what you appear to be saying. Our government is best
served by INFORMED VOTERS and as long as the President CONTINUES TO LIE
about his activities, the way our legal system works, it is up to the
Prosecutor to prove that he is lying.
The fault here is not Starr's, but Clinton's. If he would simply drop
all this legalizing maneuvering and face the music, these reports would
not have surfaced.
The only other consideration would be to narrow our freedom of speech and
I hope you don't want that.
