Forgiveness and Forgetting

Matthew, 
I do believe that what your feeling is natural, but can be changed. Jesus had
many bad, truely bad things happen to him. From being beaten and hung (also a
public disgrace) to being spit on. Even when the man came to arest him and
peter cut off his ear, he healed the man even though he knew what would happen
when he was taken in. He showed a definate compasion and forgiving heart. He
could have choosen not to be hung, or to be bitter, but he forgave and I'm
shure he forgot. 
   One last thought, Jesus told us that if we forgive we will be forgiven. And
if we don't forgive then the FATHER won't forgive us. And, we will be judged
in the same way we judge others.
