To understand my opinion, read "The Tale of Three Kings" by Gene
Edward's.

This book once helped me through some very difficult decisions!  It's a
treasure to anyone experiencing pastoral conflict or considering leaving
an assembly.  Ironically, it's written about 'legalism' (which
Apostolics are generally accused of), but it's extremely applicable in
other important areas . . . a definite recommended read despite its
rather elementary writing style.
