1Cr 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all
things are lawful for me, but all things edify not
Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the
law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were
held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the
letter.
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? [Is] the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not
known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said,
Thou shalt not covet.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the
day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which
my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward
parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my
people.
We not under the Law (fulfilled with the death, burial and resurection of
Jesus), but the Law should still show us what is sin. A new covenant was
started, we no longer need written Law as the Holy Ghost will lead us (sad thing
that many supposed "Holy Ghost filled" people show no change from the world).
