Tim:
As always, Bro. Mike, I find greater peace by NOT discussing things with
you. ;-)
Mike:
I love you too ;-) please suffer a *lesser* peace for just a while longer
seeing I am a little slow of understanding your point in this (and previous)
post(s).
Back to my question. "...just who's righteousness *does* the Lord impute
upon us?"
Unless I missed something, you didn't answer my question.
Tim:
For which I also would not presume to 'interpret' what is clearly in black
and white before our eyes and say something like "Our deeds in the Lord are
counted (put on our accounts) IN PLACE OF righteousness." That would then
of course mean that we ARE righteous when WE in faith yield to God in Christ
Jesus BY OUR OWN DEEDS that conform us to His Image.
Mike:
Am I to understand that you do *not* believe what you have within the
quotation marks? I am not sure if this an effort at sarcasm or your true
belief. Please explain. Surely you don't believe we are saved by our good
works do you?
Please forgive me if I am misunderstanding you like I did when you said,
"Righteous is never imputed to anyone. ;-)." And I thought you meant,
righteousness is never imputed to anyone.
Your Buddy, Mike
