This brought to mind a funny story I heard about titheing. The story goes
that a pig farmer was visited by the local Pastor. The farmer was showing
the pastor a new litter of piglets that number 10 in all. The farmer told
the pastor that he was going to give him one of the piglets as a tithe after
the piglets where weaned. Well weeks went by and the pastor never received
the promised piglet. One day he again was at the farmers house and asked
about the promised piglet. "oh" the farmer said, " I have bad news!! Your
pig died!! "
