believes physical punishment should be meted out for mental sin.

I didn't say that He did.  I am also not saying that in 'certain' cases that
He does not, either.  ;-)  What *I* said that Jesus made a 'distinction'
between performance and the 'thought crime'; the trespass of the heart.  I
will address the implications of this in one of the next post.  <large
simi-toothless grin>

I am happily swamped in the business of my Father!  :-D  I will try hard to
have these done by Friday at the latest.  Pray that the Lord's Will be done
in these and all things.  My plan is to finish the "Law of divorce", give a
short rundown of practical applications and then address Bro. Bernard.  I am
not picking on him in particular but he expresses a view that is commonly
held and I have first hand personal knowledge of his views, and they are
verifiable.  ;-)
